Before you begin:
We are going to show you how to create a brand new Google Analytics account and add users to it. Make sure that you check if you already have an existing working Google Analytics account.
If you already own a Google Analytics account just skip to step 7 and start from there.
How to create a Google Analytics account
Step 1: Go to official Google Analytics page
Go to: https://analytics.google.com/ and sign in with one of your existing Google account.
Step 2: Click the blue button to start
Step 3: Add your business name
Step 4: Measure your website
Step 5: Add property details
Add all the details and click create.
Step 6: Accept Google Analytics Terms of Service
After completing this step your Google Analytics account is created. Now you can follow the steps below to add users to it.
Adding users to Google Analytics
If you already have a Google Analytics account and just need to add users, follow the steps below.
Step 7: Navigate home
Look for the Home button in the top left corner and click on it.
Step 8: Locate Admin panel
On the left menu in the bottom left corner locate the Admin section and click on it.
Step 9: Find Account User Management tab
Open up Account User Management and you will be able to see all existing users.
Step 10: Add a new user
Find the blue “plus” button in the top right corner and click add users.
Step 11: Add user details
Add user email address and be sure there aren’t any misspellings because the user won’t receive an invite.
Also, make sure and check all permission boxes since we usually need everything to seamlessly use your Google Analytics. When finished click Add button on the top right corner and you’re done.
